first hand
Who: Celestia Ludenberg and YOU
Setting: Room 3-09, dormitories, Floor 13
Format: Action, but I'll match you!!
Summary: Celes has a certain thing to get rid of.
Warnings: SPOILERS for Dangan Ronpa up to and including Chapter 3!
[Room 3-09]
[After her sleep paralysis wears off, Celes jolts upward in bed, completely unable to cover the surprise on her face. She'd never expected to wake up again, and she'd come to terms with that, but...here she is.
She spends a few moments staring at her own hands, wide-eyed, before taking a breath and getting out of bed. By the time she looks up, she's already adjusted her expression to something carefully neutral. She's still just as confused on the inside, of course, and even a little scared, but there's no point in sitting around feeling bad for herself or worrying.
Roommates will have to speak to her before she investigates the contents of her chest if they want to at all, because as soon as she finds a certain object inside, she'll stand up suddenly and walk out of the room, ignoring everyone and everything.]
[Dormitories]
[Clutching something in her hand, Celes is obviously looking for something (a trash can, to be specific). She doesn't want to hold on to this...thing any longer than she has to. It's taking every ounce of her self-control not to throw it to the ground and smash it right there, though it's hard to tell at a glance. She's holding it close to her body, so it's difficult to make out what exactly it is, but more observant people will notice it looks like a car headlight.]
[Floor 13]
[Once that's been taken care of, Celes sets out to explore a little bit. It's not any different from what she did at Hope's Peak, right? Maybe she'll find something interesting. She might as well enjoy this chance while she can -
Is what she'd like to think, but she's really only preoccupied about finding a way out. There are a few things she can't explain - like how she's alive, for example - but she highly doubts the world has really been destroyed. It sounds far too much like a bluff, and until it can be proven one way or another what happened, she's going to disregard that information.
She stops on the thirteenth floor. She's actually impressed with the elegance of the room. She's not particularly religious, but the architecture was more or less reminiscent of her own plans. Maybe fewer windows, though...
Celes will be in here for a while, just admiring the layout. It might be easier to wait until she's leaving to try speaking to her, though.]

no subject
[Is this a lie or not? Celes isn't entirely sure, herself. On one hand, nobody wants to talk about their own death - but on the other hand, mincing words at this point is just irritating.]

...I wonder if you'd respect me if I were still alive. If that's not the case, then what you're feeling is probably pity, and that's not something I need from you.
no subject
Fine. I won't pity you if you don't want me to. And I won't go blabbing about what happened, either.
no subject
I appreciate that.
...Is anyone else here? I did leave quite a few of you behind, after all. Though I suppose who was left behind doesn't matter, given the fact that I'm even capable of asking you this question...
no subject
And as far as I know, it's... [She counts off on her fingers.] you, me, Sakura-chan, Kuwata-kun, Oowada-kun, Fujisaki-kun, Naegi-kun, and Hagakure-kun. They said Kirigiri-chan is here too, but I haven't run into her yet.
[Lucky lucky, Celes, none of your victims are here.]
no subject
I'm sure she'll turn up if someone finds a corpse.
[The Kirigiri meme strikes again. She pauses just long enough for that to sink in, then continues as though she hadn't just said something terrible:]
So that's four of us who are dead, and five who are alive...and all three culprits. I'm not sure that means anything, but it's something to think about.
[By her last count, anyway. She doesn't know about Sakura yet, obviously.]

[She doesn't really know many people from the other "worlds" here, so she can't tell if there are any patterns with them...] I'd say that maybe they're being kind and giving everyone a second chance... but the others keep saying that these guys are pretty cruel, so that's probably not it.

1/2
Then you pull them back in.
2/2
Do you understand, Asahina-san?
no subject
Urgh, that just sounds so messed up... but I can't deny that you have a point. Yeah, I guess I understand...
no subject
Good. I hate repeating myself.
I do have one more observation regarding your theory, though. While you suspect it's an opportunity for a second chance...what about people like yourself?
[In other words, "people who don't need a second chance." Alive people.]
Or are you going to tell me you died, too...?
no subject
I dunno, I know that theory doesn't make sense for the people who are still alive. But maybe there's a different purpose for them, and the second chance thing can still apply to those who have died.
no subject
a. Ignore it
b. Laugh it off
c. Toss the other half of the conversation out the window and go for the jugular
>c. Toss the other half of the conversation out the window and go for the jugular]
You didn't die...if that isn't it, then...maybe it's the other way around? Did you graduate, Asahina-san?
no subject
Aoi actually looks kind of angry now.]</small No way! I would never even think of killing someone just so I could graduate!
no subject
You probably wouldn't have gotten away with it anyway.
no subject
Yeah, there's no way I'd be able to outsmart Naegi-kun or Kirigiri-chan...
no subject
no subject
I really doubt you'd be able to go through with that. Kirigiri-chan is smart. None of us could set up a trap that could bring her down.
