Summary: Naoto wakes up and she is not in her body. She has a feeling she knows who is. KANJI YOU WILL NOT GET DRESSED WITHOUT HER OK? GOOD.
Warnings: Awkward. A lot of it.




[EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. NOTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING HURT. Well, ok, everything didn't hurt, but this was very uncomfortable.

She had to find Kanji and she had to find him now. She already checked the dorm room and when she didn't find him there she started searching the halls.]

[You will find, close to one of the computer terminals one(1) Kanji Shirogane collapsed on the floor out cold. The reason for this was a certain not-quite-a-human-bulldozer-right-now (more-like-a-pocket-chihuahua) having realized that not only was he in Naoto's body, but...oh hell the main problem was he is in Naoto's body.

And he looked downwards.

His mind and imagination did the rest.]

[Naoto thought she had prepared herself for this moment. She thought wrong. She was completely, 100% unprepared for it. Then again, it was likely that she would never have been ready to see her own body collapsed on the floor.

Was she really that tiny...?

No, ok, shut up. Now is not the time!

As Kanji was clearly out cold, Naoto proceeded to do one of the strangest things she has ever done in her entire life. With a startling amount of ease she scoops his(her?) unconscious body into her arms and carries him back to her dorm room.]

[You know, the irony that Naoto was the first one to carry herself in such a romantic (?!) way would be lost in the passage of time. Instead, Kanji ends up waking once they enter the room and has a near freakout from the fact he is looking upwards and GODS that is HIMSELF up there!!]

[She can't help but grimace at the sound of her own voice. It was so... so incredibly feminine. If that wasn't strange enough all on its own, it was even stranger to hear Kanji speaking with it.]

[You know, he had said to Yu before how much he admired Naoto for her tenacity despite everything, but this was taking it to an entire new level. Part of him just wanted to tell her that she doesn't need to do this at all - that the pain she put herself into isn't worth the pricks that will judge her no matter how she looks but...that's not for him to say. That's not for him to judge either. Heh. Even after accepting their Shadows, there's still a few things they have to accept about themselves, isn't there? It just makes his admiration of her much higher.

Ergo, he can't let her down! Kanji is pretty quiet after that when she continues until Naoto is finished, no matter how much pain he's in.]
